This series, created in 2012, marks one of the earliest moments in my artistic exploration of human connection—our bonds with one another, with the natural world, and with the spiritual or mystical forces that shape our inner lives. These paintings consider how we move through the world in relationship: to the earth beneath us, the animals around us, and the unseen energies that hold us together.

Say a Little Prayer For Me reflects on the rituals and beliefs that draw us closer to the spiritual realm. Across cultures and religions, prayer serves as a bridge to something greater than ourselves—a way of seeking guidance, protection, or solace. In this work, prayer becomes a symbol of our human need for strength during hardship, a practice that helps us cultivate resilience in the face of pain and loss, and an expression of faith in the safety of those we love. It is a reminder that even in our most difficult moments, we are not alone.
